Pentaprism is a polyhedral prism with a special optical structure, consisting of two refractive surfaces at a 90° angle and two reflective surfaces at a 45° angle. Light is incident vertically from any 90° plane, undergoes two reflections (non total reflection), and exits from another 90° plane to achieve precise 90° deflection. This optical component is used in specific applications such as DSLR camera viewfinders, laser levels, rangefinders, high-voltage tower vertical detection, cable conduit calibration, laser cutting and welding equipment optical path adjustment, semiconductor wafer positioning, and conveyor belt object detection.
