Double Concave Lens

The double-concave lens is a basic diverging optical element. It is applied in beam expansion systems, virtual imaging systems, and in complex optical systems. In achromatic doublet lenses, the negative lens element often adopts a double-concave or plano-concave design to offset the chromatic aberration or field curvature of the positive lens.
