Meniscus Lens

ECOPTIK offers meniscus lenses with both positive and negative focal lengths. Meniscus positive lenses exhibit superior aberration control compared to plano-convex lenses, allowing for better correction of field curvature and coma. For instance, they can be designed to achieve minimal spherical aberration in laser collimation mirrors, and can correct the distortion and field curvature of wide-angle lenses in fisheye lenses. Meniscus negative lenses are suitable for eyepieces, facilitating beam divergence and aberration compensation.
